One registration covers you for the weekend!
If household members are using the same device during camp, you do not need to register everyone in the household. You will only need separate links if some want to play Old School Jamz Jeopardy and others Name That Tune, or if household members want to compete against each other. If you prefer to be a spectator, register as a non-competing camper below. Please provide an email address when registering. The Zoom link will be sent the day of camp. Log in at least 15 min. before start time, as we must confirm registrations prior to entry.
Friday Night 6-9pm
6:15-7pm- "Farm to Table" Family Dinner Competition
*Only five families may enter. Once families register they will be emailed the recipe. Chef Damon Davis, owner of House of Catering, will demo the meal during the competition time. Families must time their cooking to be NEARLY (we must see some cooking of the main dish) done by competition time and are encouraged to prep well to have all items done, plated and ready to be judged on presentation by 6:40pm.
Menu: Tuscan Chicken Thighs paired with garlic & herb mashed potatoes, a summer berry salad with balsamic dressing and veggies.
7-8pm- Escape Rooms- Copper, Gold, Platinum (CGP) Challenge
*Only 20 contestants. 1st challenger to type MOVE ON UP in the chat and answers the question correctly, within 5 seconds, gains a coin. Questions are centered on the camp themes Life, Love & Death. The 1st 3 contestants to earn 2 coins move from copper to Gold and those contestants need 5 coins total to advance from Gold to Platinum. The 1st 2 to earn 5 coins will battle it out. The 1st to earn 10 more coins will win a cash prize.
8:10-9pm- Old School Jamz Jeopardy
*Only 10 contestants. Players will have a ball with Game Hosts Pam Johnson. Contestants will type answers into chat and the one who gets the most points wins a cash prize. Music will span various genres from the 70's through 2010.
Camp Registration
Saturday Afternoon, Noon-3pm
Noon-12:55pm: Name That Tune- *Only 10 contestants. Players will pump it up with Game Host DJ Chosen! Contestants will type answers into chat and the one who gets the most points wins a cash prize. Tunes will span popular songs, commercials, TV shows, etc.
1-3pm- Poets vs Poets & Singers vs Singers Audition (contestants' performance must fit one of themes: life, love or death). Poets vs Poets & Singers vs Singers Finale
No foul/offensive language, stick to the event themes. Five can enter per category. Judges will vote down to 2, then vote on one winner of a cash prize per category.
Sunday Morning, 10am-Noon
10-10:45pm- Life, Love & Death Charades:
Players type answers into chat and the one who gets the most points wins a cash prize.
10:50-11:40am- Key Note Speaker: “From Poverty to Power” (speech on poverty of the mind and spirit and how to achieve great things through self-care and service.) & Open Expression
11:40-Noon- Acknowledgements and winner of VS finale announced
Non-competing Camper
This option is for campers who want to register for the weekend without playing games.
General Contribution
This option is for those who won't be in attendance, but want to support Camp CHOICE.
